Cupping/Coffee Roasting & Testing Process

At Pacific Coffee Roasters Inc. each batch of coffee is made with quality and attention. We are specialized coffee roasters in Vancouver and all our organic fair trade coffee is roasted in house at our Chilliwack location. Our coffee is sold across the Lower Mainland, across BC and the Interior. We are in Alberta as well.

Coffee Roasting Cupping Process

All of our organic coffee beans are carefully sample roasted, cupped and judged by our team to make sure they meet our high standards of quality.

Our experienced roaster brings out the roast character of each bean, bringing you to the origin of that bean.

This is the room where we cup (smell, taste and judge) the quality of the beans that we buy from around the world and then sample roast. We are able to select the best beans for our customers after this process is completed.

Specialty Organic Coffee Brewing & Storage Instructions

Brewing Instructions

  • Grind your beans just before use, to keep the richness in taste and aroma.
  • 50gr beans per 34 oz. of water for medium roast (adjust to taste).
    50 gr beans per 36 oz. of water for dark roast (adjust to taste).
  • Boil cold filtered water and let sit to calm for 30 seconds.
  • Pour water gently over grinds. The recommended brew time is 4 minutes. Enjoy!

Storage Instructions

  • Put unused beans in an airtight container or keep in the same tightly closed bag, and store in a dark, dry place at room temperature. Do not store in the refrigerator or freezer.
  • Enjoy our beans and connect with us again when you run out.
